The power end will also need attention. Check crankshaft and connecting rod bearings for wear. Measure bearing clearances. If they are outside the specified limits, the bearings need to be replaced. Inspect the gears for wear and damage. Check the lubrication system for proper operation and clean out any sludge or debris.

Check the condition of the frame and skid for any structural integrity issues. Reassemble with new lubricants and thoroughly test the pump under load to ensure it performs to specifications.
